The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the region (usually several states within a short flight).
The Regional Sales Representative is the direct point of contact with customers and in charge of ensuring a customer's needs and expectations are met.
They will be expected to travel frequently for in-person meetings and trade show conferences. A Regional Sales Representative must understand our products inside and out and be able to guide their customers through the purchasing process efficiently.
Specific areas of focus will include :
Develop presentations and other materials that explain our products to customers.
Provide input to our overall sales plan.
Meet sales quotas while maintaining competitive pricing.
Answer customer questions about features, pricing, and additional services.
Provide support to customers and resolve problems with product(s) and / or equipment.
Prepare product orders and schedule deliveries.
Maintain documentation of customer contact and account updates.
Collaborate with other sales representatives to share best practices and support a cohesive go-to-market approach.
Represent our company at client meetings and industry trade shows.
Travel 70% within the US, primarily within the local region.
Requirements
Sales experience in the food and beverage industry preferred, but not required.
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is also preferred.
Knowledge of CRM software and Google Forms is preferred.
Must have proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel.
Spanish language skills are also preferred.
