Mini Melts of America is Hiring a Merchandising Near Pittsburgh, PA

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Merchandising Tech to join our team at Mini Melts of America. As a Merchandising Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of product quality and safety standards are met throughout our manufacturing process.

You will be responsible for inspecting the production line, conducting quality control tests, analyzing data, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform regular inspections of the production line to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Conduct various quality control tests, such as sensory evaluations, microbial testing, and physical / chemical analyses.
  • Collect and analyze data from quality control tests, identifying any deviations or issues.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot quality-related problems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control tests, inspections, and corrective actions.
  • Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure consistent quality standards are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in quality control practices.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control programs and procedures.
  • Train production staff on quality control procedures and standards.
  • Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with quality control requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
  • Prior experience in quality control or a similar role, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of quality control principles, practices, and standards.
  • Knowledge of quality control testing methods and equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately analyze data.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to adhere to and enforce strict quality control protocols.
  • Available for weekends once a month
  • Day / Night Shift available
