Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Charge Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department and ensuring the highest level of patient care. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities: - Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including assigning duties and monitoring performance - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians - Monitor patient vital signs and assess their condition, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical staff - Assist in coding and documentation of patient records - Conduct aliment procedures, such as wound care or IV therapy, following established protocols - Perform esthetic laser treatments as needed - Assist in ventilating patients requiring respiratory support - Manage acute pain through appropriate interventions and medications - Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments - Work with individuals with developmental disabilities to ensure their specific needs are met - Utilize electronic health record systems to accurately document patient information - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop discharge plans for patients - Maintain aseptic technique during all procedures Qualifications: - Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) in [STATE] - Proven experience as a Charge Nurse or in a similar leadership role - Strong knowledge of medical procedures, protocols, and terminology - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment - Proficient in using electronic health record systems - Familiarity with discharge planning processes and resources - Understanding of aseptic technique and infection control practices We offer competitive pay rates, comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, professional development opportunities, and more.
