The Richland Hospital is Hiring a RN Emergency Department Near Richland, WI

The Richland Hospital Nursing Department has an excellent opportunity for you to expand your nursing skills and versatility as a Registered Nurse. We have full-time and part-time openings in our Emergency Department. These are night shift (7:00p-7:00a) positions with an every third weekend rotation and 2 holidays per year.

The EmergencyDepartment Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for coordinating the nursing care of patients presenting to the Emergency Department ranging in age from pediatric to geriatric, who may present at any point on the continuum from illness to wellness. The Emergency Department RN recognizes life-threatening situations and emergencies and takes appropriate actions. The RN performs and documents thorough admission assessment addressing physical, psychological and spiritual needs of the patient and effectively incorporates data from the patient assessment in care plan development. Documentation is complete, legible, timely and accurate. Evaluates patient’s response to care on an ongoing basis. Makes appropriate adjustments to plan of care and treatment given based on evaluation of effectiveness and achievement of desired outcome. The RN performs all aspects of direct patient care and works with other disciplines/ancillary services in the care they provide. In addition, the RN promotes a cohesive environment and interacts effectively and professionally with all members of the patient care team.

Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin; CPR and ACLS certification required; and, a minimum of one year medical/surgical experience preferred.
