Job Summary
The pay range for this position is $29.00 USD per hour. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
BASIC SUMMARY :
Oversee the care of laboratory animals, facilities, and animal environments. Assist in monitoring the animal areas for adherence to regulatory agencies (i.
e. : AAALAC, USDA, CDC) requirements and adherence to industry standards for animal care and welfare.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Submit work orders for improvements as necessary.
Evaluate animal environments for compliance with husbandry and animal care standards as set forth by AAALAC, USDA, company SOP’s, and other relevant agencies.
Make suggestions to department management for improvements based on observations and involvement.
Review and assess work schedules to ensure program resources are utilized to complete objectives / tasks effectively.
Schedule and prioritize workload of group members.
Job Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS :
1 year supervisory experience preferred. Experience working in a GLP regulated environment preferred.
Knowledge of animal care and welfare standards as defined by AAALAC, USDA, etc. Computer literate.
