The Adventure Challenge Staff Accountant thinks critically, identifies issues, and solves problems. This person possesses a strong combination of excellent analytical and communication skills as well as knowledge of accounting, administrative operations, and practices. 

Responsibilities 

• Support the building and development of Finance department creating processes and workflows.
• Work cross-functionally to develop a company-wide budget process. 
• Update and maintain accounting process with data entry and generating reports.
• Perform analysis of accounting and administrative results as needed.
• Perform day-to-day accounting duties including:

-Accounts Receivable

-Accounts Payable

-Inventory Adjustments

-Monitor and update Finance related Monday boards

-Record daily cash deposits and payments 

-Repair sync errors between Bill.com and NetSuite

-Prepare journal entry for Brex and Kleercard entries

• Perform Month end close activities:

-Reconcile Cash Accounts

-Reconcile Fixed Assets 

-Prepare Journal entries for depreciation

-Reconcile Security deposits

• Support system transition to NetSuite and have a good understanding of the system.
• Undertake any other duties as requested by the Controller.

Qualifications

• Associates in Accounting or a related field of study, or equivalent 
• 5 years of experience working in Accounting and Administration 
• Very strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Highly detail-oriented and proficient 

General Requirements

• Ability to remain stationery and work in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time.
• Daily responsibilities include repetitive motions, such as typing, that may involve wrists, hands, or fingers
• Strong and proficient interpersonal and communication skills, including both written and verbal ie: email, slack, video, or in-person.
