Personal Lines Account Manager -
The Brooks Group, an Insurance and Financial Strategies firm, has an immediate opening for a Personal & Commercial Lines Account Manager - working with our team in Cedar Rapids Iowa. The Personal Lines Account Manager's primary responsibilities include; maintaining high account retention by providing excellent customer service which includes risk management assessments/advice, cross-selling appropriate services to existing clients, and managing daily service requests. Additional duties include in-bound sales and claims advocacy.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Receive, document and process all insured requests for service ( changes, auto ID, quotes, etc.)
· Round out existing account by proactively selling additional personal & Commercial lines coverages or policies.
· Initiate contact with current clients, including outbound calls, email and written correspondence to recommend and sell additional lines of coverages appropriate. Conduct annual insurance reviews.
· Quote, review, and sell policies to in-bound callers, walk-ins, referrals, or current clients, utilizing agency and carrier guidelines
· Assist in directing clients with routine service needs to the carrier Service Centers
· Answer client's questions related to their coverages or policy status
· Maintain electronic files accurately and consistently to agency standards
· Establish trust with leaders in order to achieve great experiences for the client
· Increase industry and job knowledge as measured by attendance at continuing education, attaining or updating designations, and participation in other agency training offerings
Education & Experience:
· High School diploma or equivalent required
· College degree preferred or comparable work experience
· Personal & Commercial Lines license must be obtained within 90 days of hire
· Personal & Commercial Lines and/or customer service experience desirable
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and able to quickly learn and utilize other computer applications

· Extremely accurate and detail-oriented
· Strong and professional verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent customer service skills
· Treats external and internal clients professionally at all times.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $66,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
