About the Role: Our expanding team, currently comprised of Data Analysts, and Data Engineers is expanding to include a Data Architect. In this role you will architect solutions to pull sales data out of SAP and into Snowflake, build data ingestion pipelines and work closely with the executive leadership as well as a vendor in India. As we are a small shop, the candidate may also be involved across various aspects of data engineering.
Key Responsibilities:

• Pulling sales data out of SAP and into Snowflake
• Building data ingestion pipelines
• Providing technical leadership to drive the architectural vision and implementation of our data solutions
• Advocating and implementing best data engineering and architectural practices
• Mentoring and guiding junior to mid-level team members
• Working closely with product managers, software developers, and other stakeholders to deliver quality features and improvements
• Staying abreast of emerging technologies and trends

As the Data Architect, you will contribute to and lead the development of our enterprise data and analytics platform. You will provide technical leadership while promoting a culture of continuous learning and innovation, helping to ensure that technologies align with the overall business objectives.
This role demands strong communication skills as it involves working closely with the business. It offers the opportunity to add value to a dynamic team while developing robust solutions in an environment geared towards constant learning.

Requirements
Must Have:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Data/Solution Architect
• Proven experience with Cloud-based Data Warehouses, Snowflake preferred
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience with AWS
• Proficiency in any Data Transformation Tool (ideally DBT, but will also consider Informatica, Fivetran, Matillion, Coalesce)
• Emotional maturity to handle high change environment with shifting priorities

Nice to have:

• Experience with Power BI or other Data Analytics tools
• Working knowledge of Data Vault Methodology
• Experience performing SAP to AWS
• Working knowledge of Python or Java
• Experience with Agile
• Hands-on experience with DevOps
• Experience with Github or other code repositories
• Certified Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse Architect
• Certification in Cloud platform (ideally AWS)
