Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and 15 years’ experience. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

Required Experience Level:

• Ability to drive projects and provide day-to-day direction to team members.
• Demonstrated strong project/program management skills on a network infrastructure team.
• Familiarity of Agile methods.
• Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance – US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) and must not have traveled outside of the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in last 5 years.
• Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years.

Preferred Skills:

• Agile Certifications
• Experience using Excel and MS Access
• ITIL Foundations certification

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

Description: Program Support (1 resource)

This Program Manager resource shall take an active role in the transformation of the USPS Desktop Computing Environment and program management.

• Supplier must provide software and system operations engineering skills
• Compiles project data and reports on status of key projects to management.
• Consult with management and customers regarding product feasibility and viability of network infrastructure plans and designs and includes emerging technology and product supportability into design and implementation.
• Provide team with data analysis for provisioning orders in bulk to multiple network service providers using Excel and MS Access; some billing reconciliation issues.
• Serve as liaison between network engineers, development team and customer management.
• Provide advanced support for the diagnosis and resolution of complex problems to ensure minimal disruption of mission-critical systems and applications.
• Leads teams and provides day-to-day direction for projects.
• Familiarity with the design, installation, and configuration services regarding Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards in order to design the most comprehensive framework to address all security, data integrity and privacy concerns within the United States Postal Service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $84,066.08 - $101,240.87 per year
