Safety Coordinator Purpose of Position : This position provides administrative support for Custom Apple's safety program and, as needed, assists with front office coverage and some HR functions.

• warm and engaging with personnel Professional communication Essential Job Functions : Helps facilitate communications related to company safety policies;
• engages employees to "See, Say, Do" and to make SAFETY the highest work priority;Coordinates and conducts regular safety trainings, in Spanish and in English;
• helps facilitate safety training and communication in Russian, via a telephonic language service;Performs job-specific safety trainings for new employees and for existing employees moving into new positions;
• Performs regular safety evaluations;Coordinates safety meetings in response to identified safety deficiencies;Performs PPE inspections and maintains log with inspection dates;
• Purchases and distributes safety equipment;Assists with accident / injury reporting, identifying root cause and contributing causes;
• Performs clerical duties related to the safety department including, but not limited to, completing inspection logs, creating training certificates, filling out forms (such as disciplinary actions for safety violations), etc;
• Reports on safety incidents at regular intervals;Assists employees with the completion of injury reports, SIF-2 forms, and other safety packet documents;
• Tracks / uploads safety trainings to designated locations;Enters work-related injury info into employee database; communicates with third-party administrator to provide timecards, pay stubs, and other employment data;
• Creates light duty job offers for injured employees and light duty job descriptions for approval by attending medical providers;
