M.E. Mechanical Inc is Hiring a Fire Sprinkler Fitter Near Quincy, IL

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems in commercial and residential buildings.

Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and repair fire sprinkler systems according to NFPA standards
- Fabricate and assemble piping components
- Perform maintenance on fire sprinkler systems
- Test system functionality and ensure proper operation
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with the systems
- Complete necessary documentation for all work performed

- NICET Level III - Inspection & Testing of Water-Based Systems Prefered

Requirements:
- Experience in plumbing or pipefitting
- Ability to use power tools for cutting and assembling materials
- Knowledge of rigging practices for system installation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical drawings
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments
