Job Title: Theater House Manager
Reports to: Artistic Director
Location: Portland, OR

Compensation: $18 an hour
Hours: 20 to 25 hours per week

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced part-time House Manager to oversee the management of our volunteers and nightly operations of our theater. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of front-of-house operations, managing volunteer training/scheduling, and providing excellent customer service to our patrons.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house performers, producers and volunteers
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the theater space, including the classrooms, restrooms, and seating areas.
- Manage ticketing systems and handle patron inquiries and concerns.
- Oversee concessions inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
- Reports to Programs Director
Requirements:
- Previous experience in theater management or hospitality management preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Knowledge of ticketing and point of sale systems preferred (Square, BoldType/MercTickets)
- Customer service best practices.
- Up to date OLCC Certification
