Our team in Pomona, Johannesburg currently has an opening for a Business Development Specialist-Food & Nutrition
Brenntag SA is looking for an experienced Business Development/Technical Sales Specialist for the Food and Nutrition business unit with experience in Savoury applications. The Bus Dev Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships within the Food and Nutrition industry. This position drives sales growth by creating selling strategies to grow market share in each relevant product and service offering, develops and leverages relationships with clients, and provides excellent customer service and technical expertise as required. The territory is South Africa.
Matric
Tertiary qualification in Food sciences/Marketing/Commerce
5-8 years Business Development/Technical Sales experience in the food manufacturing/ingredients distribution industry
Experience in Business Development/Commercial function that includes managing complex and or significant supplier/customer relationships and key accounts preferred.
Experience with CRM and MS Office
SAP knowledge advantageous
Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
Market related
