Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ensuring that all facilities are well-cared for.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, shop area, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Perform floor care duties including buffing, waxing, and polishing
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial or industrial cleaning
- Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job
- Knowledge of floor care techniques
