Huron Valley Ambulance is hiring full-time and part-time EMTs for our Wayne County operations. HVA EMTs are skilled, friendly, and professional - we pride ourselves on the character and caliber of our employees.

We will pay for you to continue your EMS training and earn an AEMT or paramedic license. Sign-on bonuses are available for new full-time employees.
Headquartered in Plymouth, HVA-Eastern Operations provides EMS to all of Southeast Michigan along with several large and small-scale special events.
Our EMTs typically work 10 to 12-hour shifts delivering patient care under hospital-approved medical protocols. Additional special team opportunities for EMTs include honor guard, tactical EMS, and bicycle response teams.
Job DutiesMaintain high clinical standards in all aspects of care.Safely drive and operate ambulances.Provide basic life support, including CPR, airway, suction, oxygen application, bleeding control, splinting, bandaging, etc.
Provide convalescent care, including transporting sick, injured, and convalescent patients to and from medical facilities.
Proficiently and safely perform patient handling, including stretcher operations, lifting, and loading.Treat patients with compassion and respect.
Interact professionally and courteously with patients, family members, facility staff, and co-workers.

In 2018, Emergent Health expanded to Michigan's west side when LifeCare Ambulance of Battle Creek was added to the organization. This new growth made Emergent Health Partners the largest EMS provider in Michigan. Emergent Health Partners operates with over 100 ambulances and close to 600 licensed EMTs and paramedics. All of Emergent Healths EMS operations are accredited by CAAS - the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services. Of the 13,000 ambulance services currently operating in the United States, fewer than 200 are presently CAAS accredited. Maintaining CAAS accreditation assures that Emergent Health Partners prioritizes up-to-date and well-maintained equipment, rigorous employee training, and high-level hiring requirements in order to provide the communities we serve with exemplary pre-hospital emergency care.
