Join our team as an Account Clerk! In this crucial role, you’ll contribute to the smooth operation of our manufacturing company by executing daily accounting functions with precision and dedication. This position reports to the Accounting Manager.
What you’ll do:
- Manage Accounts Receivable/Sales Orders, including receiving and applying customer payments.
- Handle Accounts Payable/Purchase Orders, including remitting vendor payments.
- Ensure accurate recording of corporate credit card transactions.
- Conduct monthly physical inventory counts and reconcile them to accounting records for inventory accounting.
- Maintain Bill of Material recordkeeping within Sage Intacct for all products.
- Prepare monthly Sales Tax reports for multiple states.
- Collaborate with the Titan production crew to optimize daily recording of production, material usage, and product sales to USS, enhancing the inventory recordkeeping system.
- Analyze unit sales prices in comparison to unit costs.
- Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to providing accurate and timely reports to management.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned to support the overall production of the accounting department.
What you’ll need:
- 2 or 4-year accounting degree from a college or technical school or equivalent education and experience.
- Experience in manufacturing accounting is a plus.
- Proficiency in Office 365.
- Experience with the Sage Intacct accounting system is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Demonstrated versatility, flexibility, and enthusiasm to adapt to evolving priorities.
