Description
We are offering an opportunity for an experienced IT Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our team in the financial services industry. The position is located in Plano, Texas, United States. As an IT Risk and Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring compliance activities, conducting audits and investigations, and developing and implementing policies. You will also be tasked with risk assessment, reporting, and documentation, as well as training and education.
Responsibilities:
Regularly review organizational activities to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies
Conduct compliance audits and investigations to identify potential issues and areas of non-compliance
Assist in the development, implementation, and updating of compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines
Perform risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies
Prepare detailed reports on compliance activities, findings, and corrective actions
Maintain accurate documentation of compliance efforts and incidents
Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance requirements and best practices
Stay up-to-date with changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards that may affect the organization's compliance status
Collaborate with various departments to ensure an integrated approach to compliance and risk management
Serve as a point of contact for regulatory agencies and assist in regulatory inquiries and examinations
Recommend improvements to compliance processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
Proficiency in Data Mining Techniques to extract and analyze complex and large sets of data.
Demonstrated experience in Auditing, including the ability to detect and prevent discrepancies and fraud.
Knowledge of Credit risk management, including the ability to identify, assess, and prioritize credit risks.
Understanding of Compliance Risk, with the ability to develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs.
Familiarity with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and its requirements, including the ability to ensure company operations are in compliance with the BSA.
