Responsibilities:
- Perform carpentry work including framing, installing doors and windows, and building structures
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials
- Install cabinets, countertops, and other fixtures
- Repair or replace damaged or rotting wood
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet project specifications
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:
- Proficient in carpentry techniques such as plumb, level, and square
- Knowledge of construction estimating to accurately assess project costs
- Experience with mold remediation to address any issues that may arise during construction
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate construction
- Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation
- Expertise in flooring installation, including hardwood, laminate, tile, or carpet
- Versatility as a maintenance person to perform various tasks beyond carpentry if needed
- Experience in door hanging for both interior and exterior doors
- Knowledge of remodeling techniques to update existing structures
- Proficiency in cabinet installation for kitchens, bathrooms, or other areas
