Contents Mover

The Contents Mover position is a career in field services in the property damage restoration industry. The position is primarily responsible for responding to emergency and property damaging situations.

Our labor force is accountable for addressing the property and the customer with skill, knowledge, and professionalism. The position is accountable for preserving as much of the property as possible while working safely and efficiently on the job site.

Work safely in residential and commercial properties that have been damaged by fire, water, storm, and / or moldAssist in packing, loading, unloading and unpacking furniture, equipment and materials according to project requirementsSafely handle fragile and valuable items with care to prevent damage during transportationCollaborate with restoration team members to ensure efficient and effective movement of items within project sitesFollow established protocols for proper lifting techniques to ensure personal safety and that of othersOrganize and maintain inventory of materials and supplies used during restoration projectsMaintain clean and orderly workspaces, ensuring tools and equipment are stored appropriatelyCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and address any concernsAdhere to company policies, procedures and safety guideline at all timesProvide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during the moving processDemolition of structural damage to properties through the use of hand and power toolsComplete assigned tasks and notes in our primary operating system (RMS)Take photos of jobs assigned at start, completion, and throughout the processCompetency - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

Compensation : $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
