Litigation Paralegal (5 Years Arizona Experience)
Sonja Cotton & Associates is currently seeking an exceptional paralegal with 5 years litigation experience (J.D. would be acceptable for nonpracticing attorney) to join a busy downtown Phoenix, Arizona law firm known for its family-like company culture. Must have previous trial experience.
Responsibilities: As a key employee on the litigation team, you will play a pivotal role in managing complex cases across state, federal, and appeals courts. Your responsibilities will include:
- Docketing: Ensuring timely filing deadlines and case milestones are met.
- Case Management: Organizing and maintaining case files, client documents, and evidence.
- Legal Research: Conducting thorough legal research to support case strategies.
- Trial Preparation: Assisting attorneys with trial preparation, including drafting pleadings and discovery. Must have strong Trial Director and E-Discovery experience.
- High-Level Administrative Tasks: Executing administrative tasks with precision and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- 5 years litigation paralegal experience, with a strong background in trial experience in Arizona courts.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software, including Trial Director.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
- Self-motivated team player, capable of working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary commensurate with experience up to $90K and full benefits package.
