Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney. We are a family investment office with a niche business strategy that involves pursuing defendants and working towards settlements primarily involving the TCPA.

You will be responsible for representing us as a plaintiff in various legal proceedings. Any case that is going to go to trial we will bring in special counsel. This role will be primarily focused on working towards settlements which may include filing complaints.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis

- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts

- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel

- Attend depositions, hearings, and other court proceedings

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation

- Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations that may impact ongoing cases

- Collaborate with external counsel when necessary

- Assist with legal administrative tasks as needed

Skills:

- 2 years of civil and/or commercial litigation experience

- Strong research skills with the ability to gather and analyze complex legal information

- Proficient in legal drafting, including the preparation of pleadings, motions, and briefs

- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents

- Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and practices

- Strong negotiation skills Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

- Problem solver who sees a new experience or question as an opportunity to grow and learn

- Consistent, reliable, and honest

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree/Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience in legal drafting, writing, and research
- Familiarity with legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Strong litigation and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay: $105,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
