GKhair is Hiring a Sales Consultant Near Pensacola, FL

The Sales Consultant is responsible for building the business and brand presence while driving the company’s growth in the designated State of Florida through new customer (salon) acquisition. As a Sales Consultant, you must provide service and support to salons in the assigned territory. This position is responsible for generating leads, prospecting, and ultimately pursuing and closing that business.

Job Role & Responsibility:

  • Solicit new business opportunities in designated markets by finding and visiting salons in person.
  • Developing and closing sales opportunities. The position will focus the majority of its time to grow sales within a specific territory as well as increasing revenue through inactive or new business.
  • Meeting regularly with customers to understand their evolving needs and building long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with new customers.
  • Show and propose exciting new products and promotions. Educates customers on all new products and services offered.
  • Support sales through education, promotional events, and merchandising.
  • Work with Accounting and Warehouse teams to process orders and successfully coordinate business needs.
  • Increases the profitability of existing accounts by analyzing utilization/profitability; develops action plans and communication requirements; implements approved plans.
  • Keep abreast of incoming inventory, featured products, etc., and how they benefit customers.
  • Work closely with the internal team to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty throughout the ordering process.
  • Perform lead follow-ups via email, phone, and in-person visits.
  • Present solutions to customers tied to their business results, using a consultative selling methodology and economic modeling.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
  • Negotiate contracts, forecast sales activities, and plan for growth.
  • Review and analyze actions/activities at the end of the week and submit a weekly sales report to calculate the total sales.
  • Stay current with the industry and understand competitors' strengths and weaknesses. Monitor market changes and competitors’ new product launches and programs.
  • Participate when the company exhibits in trade shows, and hosts seminars, and training as required.

Travel may be required.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the professional Hair Care Industry.
  • Experience in managing business accounts and relationships with clients.
  • Strong personal knowledge/network of contacts within the industry (distributors, top salons, sales, and education personnel) will be preferred.
  • Knowledge of Sales Promotions.
  • A self-motivated and proactive candidate with high emotional intelligence, relationship management skills, and an openness to feedback is preferred.
  • Excellent selling, prioritizing, communication, and negotiation skills are highly preferred.
  • The ideal candidate would also have a growth mindset (not fixed) and the ability to think disruptively.
  • Must display excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to establish relationships with a wide variety of customers.
  • Must be a strong communicator both internally and externally.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per hour
