Position : Facility Attendant I Location : Parkville, MO

This role serves the University in various ways by setting up for events, assisting with moving or relocating staff / departments and responding to emergency work requests.

This role will also do some light custodial duties to ensure the University is properly maintained. Position Accountabilities :

Sets up furnishings, equipment and materials for use during scheduled university events, conferences and special programs.

Takes down after event and ensures items are put away and space is clean.

• Delivers materials and equipment to various campus departments
• Moves office equipment and furnishings as required
• Provides custodial services on campus as needed

Position Requirements :

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to read and write the English language.
• Preferable 1 2 years’ experience in cleaning and light maintenance.
• Ability to apply common sense, carry out verbal, written and diagrammatic forms.
• Customer relations and Communication skills are considered critical to this position. Excellent customer service skills required.

Must work well with others. Ability to communicate clearly and diplomatically with all business and professional visitors including parents, staff, students and faculty

• Must have night and weekend availability.
• At this time position will be five 8 hours shifts Tuesday thru Saturday, 11 am 7 : 30 pm.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 80 pounds and use a 10’ ladder.
• Climbing of stairs is required.
