Job Summary: This is professional engineering work serving as project manager for water resources projects from planning through construction.
Job duties include:
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in environmental, civil, hydraulic, agricultural or water resource engineering, and registration by the State of Florida as a Professional Engineer.
SJRWMD has determined this to be a mandatory-testing position as described in Section 440.102, Florida Statutes. Any offer of employment for a mandatory-testing position will be contingent upon successfully passing a drug screening paid by SJRWMD. The SJRWMD Drug Free Workplace Policy is available for review in the Careers section at www.sjrwmd.com.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment:
Mostly office environment sitting at a desk and operating a personal computer to produce work products.
Periodic field visits:
Must have ability to endure outdoor environments in uncomfortable temperatures, inclement weather, and remote locations.
Licenses:
Valid State of Florida Driver’s License.
Valid State of Florida Professional Engineer License.
Additional Details:
Salary Range: $73,528.00 - $95,596.80
Starting salary is based on qualifications and experience.
