Express Family Care is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Palatka, FL

We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our Primary Care team! You will be responsible for providing support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. Previous experience in primary care is a plus!

Duties and Responsibilities

Include but not limited to:

  • Completing all tasks assigned by Treatment Coordinators in a timely and accurate manner
  • Completing daily notes in the patient's chart
  • Maintaining proper storage of medical supplies
  • Interview patients and document basic medical history
  • Obtain Vital Signs
  • Assist during medical examinations and procedures
  • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Prepare/clean treatment rooms and medical instruments

Position Requirements

  • Must be able to pass drug screen/background check.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Social perceptiveness and service oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficiency in patient management software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
