Responsibilities
- Apply cash entries accurately, especially checks from vendors, into MS Excel
- Code and post lockbox deposits to maintain financial accuracy
- Proactively reach out to customers to resolve any issues or inquiries
- Work closely with the credit team and Accounts Receivable to address misapplied cash
- Manage and respond to any arising requests in a timely manner
- Convert cash application processes to a lockbox system
- Ensure all cash applications are straight and without foreign wires or ACH payments
- Utilize MS Excel and other software to maintain accurate customer credit records
- Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments
- Prioritize data entry to maintain the accuracy and efficiency of the cash application process.
