Job Description

SCA Data Specialist

Locations : Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model with Pulse Point sites (major office) used for collaboration, community, and connection.

This position will be primarily virtual, however will be based within 50 miles of an Elevance Health Pulse Point.

Pay : the pay for this position varies by location, is set by the government, and is non-negotiable .

The pay is as follows :

  • Indianapolis, Indiana - $20.39
  • Hingham, Massachusetts - $21.40
  • Baltimore, Maryland - $21.41
  • South Portland, Maine - $19.37
  • East Syracuse, New York - $20.39
  • Harrisburg, Pennsylvania - $19.37
  • Denison, Texas - $19.37
  • Richmond, VA - $20.39
  • Cincinnati, OH - $20.39
  • Louisville, KY - $19.37
  • Atlanta, GA - $20.39
  • Chicago, IL - $22.43

The SCA Data Specialist is responsible for researching and collecting data for complex and substantially varied issues and data needs.

How you will make an impact :

  • Identifies sources for needed information.
  • Collects data and inputs data to spreadsheets and databases.
  • Creates databases as needed.
  • May also coordinate support issues such as meetings, conference calls, and temporary personnel.

Minimum Requirements :

Requires H.S. diploma or equivalent with additional post-secondary education or training; at least 5 years office and related experience;

or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

This position is part of our NGS (National Government Services) division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences :

  • Highly advanced written and oral communication preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills preferred.
  • Ability to problem-solve highly preferred.
  • Computer based skills including MS Office products strongly preferred.

If this job is assigned to any Government Business Division entity, the applicant and incumbent fall under a 'sensitive position' work designation and may be subject to additional requirements beyond those associates outside Government Business Divisions.

Requirements include but are not limited to more stringent and frequent background checks and / or government clearances, segregation of duties principles, role specific training, monitoring of daily job functions, and sensitive data handling instructions.

Associates in these jobs must follow the specific policies, procedures, guidelines, etc. as stated by the Government Business Division in which they are employed.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $20.39.
