Job ResponsibilitiesSoftware and Hardware Management:Assist in the software and hardware life cycle management processes, including research, packaging, quality assurance, and deployment preparation.
Set up new users by configuring desktops, email accounts, LDAP accounts, and VPN access.
Troubleshoot software issues on employees’ desktops and laptops.
End-User SupportProvide timely and effective support to employees, both local and remote.
Address desktop-related issues, account problems, and access requests for various internal services.
Be available for off-hours support when necessary.
Security And TroubleshootingEnsure assets and devices are connected, functioning properly, and secure.
Respond to security vulnerabilities promptly.
Resolve end-user tech issues efficiently.
On-Site AssistanceBe available for on-site support requests, assisting employees with technical issues.
Collaborate with managers to understand specific requirements and processes.
Disaster Recovery (DR) EffortsSupport monthly DR tests, ensuring business continuity.
Participate in recovery exercises and contribute to improving DR procedures.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a technical field (e.g., computer science, computer engineering) or related experience.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Windows OS.
- Experience with desktop installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with mobile device issues.
