Description:

Actalent is seeking a Plumbing Design Engineer with 4 years design experience in using Revit and AutoCAD for building plumbing systems, including several years of design experience within the building and construction industry. Candidate will be primarily working with project engineers, project managers. This position isn't just design but also working with distributors to order materials and the knowledge base to know what kind of material to order for a particular project. Our client has a diverse portfolio of projects including healthcare, K-12, higher education, government, mission critical and more.

Skills:

Plumbing design, Drafting/design, autocad, Plumbing, revit, Plumbing/fire protection, Mep engineering, Mep design

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

AutoCAD is a must, Revit is a plus.

Water / Waste Water experience is preferred but not required.

3-7 years of experience of building plumbing engineering systems design experience required

CPD or EIT status (or pending PE licensure) is recommended, but not required

Familiarity with national, state, and local building codes, energy codes, and industry standards
