This division has proven capabilities in all phases of structural analysis, development and design. We support our Industrial/Manufacturing client’s structural design needs with a wide range of services in design, review and consultation. Our Structural division’s system experience includes: Foundations, Rigid Frames, Equipment Supports, Platforms & Stair Towers, Buildings, Slabs/Walls/Roofs, Bridge Cranes & Supports, Structural Plate Systems, Tanks & Storage Vessels.

Our Core Competencies Include: Construction Documents, Bid Packages Development, Scope Development, Preliminary Engineering, Construction, Rehabilitation Design, Peer or Colleague Review, Start?Up/Commissioning, Seismic Evaluations, Wind Loading Analysis, Building Façade Analysis & Design, Blast proof Façade Specification, Roof Analysis, Structure Inspections.
TAI’s Structural division has experience working with a variety of materials such as: Steel/Stainless Steel/Aluminum, Reinforced/Unreinforced Concrete & Masonry, Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic, Exotic Metals and Non?Metals.
The Structural Designer supports the department by developing structural construction documents. The Structural Designer will work closely with structural engineers in the group to develop design documents for review and submission. These documents will range from preliminary submittal documents to final construction documents. The Structural Designer will also be responsible for editing drawing mark-ups, reviewing some shop drawing submittals and creating as-built drawings. The Structural Designer may also provide assistance to a Structural Engineer or Senior Structural Designer in the field.
Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of design experience helping to create construction documents for structural projects.
• Minimum of 2 years of design experience utilizing REVIT
• Proficient with AutoCAD 2D in model and paper space environments
• Ability to work accurately with layering, X-Refs, and other collaborative features of the software
• Functional with AutoCAD 3D
• Ability to produce detailed structural steel and concrete drawings
• Ability to continually upgrade functionality in other design formats including BIM software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer relation skills, a positive work attitude, and willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to produce high quality results within time and budget constraints

Candidates must have experience with the following software:

• Microsoft Office applications
• AutoCAD 2013 or higher
• Autodesk REVIT 2013 or higher
• SDS2 is a plus, but not required
