The Springs Living is Hiring a Medication Technician Near Oswego, OR

DescriptionAre you looking for meaningful work at an organization that believes that each of us is an important part of something bigger than ourselves? As the Medication Technician you are responsible for:

  • Administering or assisting residents to self administer medications and treatments
  • Remain observant of any problems and report such problem to supervisor
  • Responsible for communicating with physicians, implement physicians orders, reports and documents pertinent information
  • Works closely with home health, hospice, and pharmacy services
  • Measures vital signs and weight; and performs other health services tasks.
  • Other caregiving duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in Senior Care as a Med Tech, Caregiver, or similar
  • Must have prior professional experience administering medications to multiple clients at once
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to pass criminal background and pre-employment drug test
  • Genuine love for seniors and a willingness to learn
