Marine Service TechnicianYour job will be to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues for marine telecommunication systems.
Responsibilities- Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on marine telecommunication equipment including but not limited to Radars, Satcoms, HF & VHF Radios, etc.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed, including service reports, parts used, and time spent on each job.Marine Service TechnicianRequirements : - High school diploma or equivalent;
Technical certification or vocational training in marine mechanics is preferred.- 3 years of MSE, ET , or AT experience (focused in commercial shipping)- Current FCC General License with Radar & GMDSS Radio Operator Maintainer License OR willingness to train and obtain upon hire- Physically fit and able to traverse ladders, masts, and manipulate 20-40lb items with ease.
