* Starting Pay Range: $15.00/HR to $18.75/HR * Under the leadership of the Print Shop Supervisor, the Print Shop Assistant supports all of the day-to-day operations within a deadline-driven, high-volume production facility. The Print Shop Assistant works closely with other team members at the Print Shop as well as completing individually assigned tasks. Some of the assignments include pre-press and production file set up and operating digital printers, mailing machines and hydraulic paper cutters. As part of the larger Creative Services team, the Print Shop Assistant is a hands-on, production-focused role, advancing business objectives across the Oneida Indian Nation and more than seventy brands in the Turning Stone Enterprises portfolio.

What does a Print Shop Assistant do?

• Assists with various production jobs including printing, cutting, folding and padding.
• Assists with the bundling, packaging and distribution of Nation and enterprise mailings.
• Using the company vehicle, delivers print jobs to properties and the Post Office on a daily basis.
• Operates various types of postage equipment to seal envelopes, packages, affix postage and address outgoing mail.
• Maintains inventory of mail supplies including mail trays, sacks, sleeves and tubs — replenishes stock as needed from USPS.
• Assists with in-house graphic services for various forms and documents for the Oneida Indian Nation and its enterprises using Adobe and variable data software.
• Provides support to wide-format printing department in the areas of laminating, vinyl application and cutting of various sign boards.

Key attributes we're seeking as a Print Shop Assistant are:

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Experience, or the ability to be trained, on various print production equipment including high-volume copiers.
• Some experience in graphic print industry and knowledge of graphic design or software helpful.
• Valid New York State driver’s license is required.
