We are searching for a great cook and administrative support staff to join our team! Experience in food preparation of any industry is preferred. Along with preparing meals, this position would also be responsible for driving a van to drop off and pick up School Agers.
This would not be considered a primary teaching position and outside of driving a van to/from school with School Age students, there would be very limited time spent with students. This is primarily a support staff role in the child care center.

As a staff member for A Step Ahead Child Care Centers, you will spend your days nurturing and encouraging the children in your care. You will:
~ Implement the cycle menu, purchase and prepare food and support center staff with nutrition activities
~ Prepare, organize, and complete USDA Food Program paperwork
~ Set up the food for all meals and snacks
~ Join the children and other staff at the table during mealtimes whenever possible
~ Clean and maintain kitchen, food service utensils, equipment, and food storage areas
~ Drive a center van to pick up and drop off School Age students
~ Give guidance, support, words of encouragement, and smiles
~ Support your fellow teachers and create a professional environment of mutual respect
