We are 900 people strong and growing! You could play a key role supporting the Resource & Referral division! Essential Duties And Responsibilities - Within a team environment, this position will perform the following responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of virtual and in-person Engagement activities; prepare & implement activities, such as story time; support other ongoing Engagement programs. (60%)
Collaborate with other team members on planning and implementing trainings/workshops & conferences for parents and other community members throughout the year. (15%)
Work collaboratively as a team member within the Resource and Referral Division area and other Agency Divisions (i.e., serving on committees; representing the Agency at community outreach events and activities, including resource fairs, meetings, and all agency-sponsored events; and providing support to other programs within the department). (15%)
Build connections with and maintain resources within the community. (5%)
Maintain and ensure data integrity and accuracy for required databases. (5%)
Minimum Required
Education: Associate's degree in related field or equivalent college semester units in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field such as Human Development or equivalent experience or any combination of education and experience, which would enable the candidate to successful perform the functions of the position.
Experience:
Two years of relevant experience working with families and/or in child development.
Working knowledge and understanding of Child Development and Developmentally Appropriate Practices, community resources and Strengthening Families Framework Protective Factors. Experience implementing family engagement programs with a strength-based approach.
Familiarity with childcare provider population.
Professional/Technical Certifications: Hold or ability to obtain or qualify for CPR and First Aid Certification within 90 days from date of hire.
Bilingual Preferred :
Ability to converse, write and/or translate in English and Spanish
Travel : This position will require 15% of travel. It will consist of local travel for family engagement activities in the community one-two times per week. Travel between offices for meetings, trainings and CCRC sponsored events may occur four-six times per year. Overnight travel may be required to attend conferences in California one-two times per year. May use CCRC company vehicles, when available or personal vehicle and will be subject to Driver Management Policy requirements (i.e., valid California Driver's License, automobile insurance and a clean driving record required).
Work Schedule : Full time position, 40 hours per week. This position will require the ability to work a non-traditional work schedule including evenings and weekends.
Work environment : This position's work environment will consist of remote work and locations throughout CCRC's service area.

Criminal Records (e.g. Live Scan Fingerprinting), Child Abuse Index Check, Sexual Offender Registry, Health and Tuberculosis (TB) test clearances required.
