Position: Cable Technician (Traveling)Candidates must be able to Travel out of state Monday - FridayAll expenses will be paidJob Description:As a Cable Technician specializing in traveling assignments, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting cable systems in various locations across the country. This role involves extensive travel from Monday to Friday, with all expenses covered by the company. You will work closely with a team to ensure the successful deployment and operation of cable infrastructure in diverse environments.Key Responsibilities:Installation and Maintenance: Install, terminate, and test cable systems including fiber optic, coaxial, and twisted pair cables. Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve cable-related issues promptly and efficiently. Troubleshoot connectivity problems, signal disruptions, and other technical issues as they arise.Site Assessment: Conduct site surveys to assess the requirements for cable installation. Determine optimal routing and placement of cables to meet client needs and industry standards.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Complete service reports, work orders, and other documentation as required.Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members, including project managers, engineers, and other technicians, to coordinate tasks and achieve project goals. Communicate effectively to ensure seamless execution of projects.Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with customers to understand their requirements, address concerns, and provide technical assistance as needed.
