Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Store Manager to join our team in a retail environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience in retail operations, particularly within a grocery store or wireless sales setting.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the Store Manager in daily operations and management of the store
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues effectively
- Oversee and manage sales, including wireless sales if applicable
- Supervise and train staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service
- Ensure store cleanliness and organization
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks
- Implement strategies to meet sales targets and maximize profitability
- Conduct interviews, hire, and train new employees
- Handle shift management duties effectively

Requirements:

- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a grocery store or wireless sales environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Proficiency in POS systems and retail math
- Ability to negotiate with vendors and manage sales promotions
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Experience in conducting interviews and hiring processes
