Front Desk Receptionist
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Collect patient information and update medical records
- Verify insurance information and assist with billing inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Skills:
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing excellent patient care
- Proficient in administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping
- Familiarity with medical scheduling software (e.g., Epic, Dentrix) is a plus
- Ability to operate office equipment such as computers, printers, and phone systems
- Previous experience working in a dental or medical office is preferred
