Shop Floor Assistant

We are looking for a few talented individuals ready to work 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm Monday through Friday learning the art of producing quality architectural signage.

Positions are available operating light industrial equipment, to assemble, paint and lacquer, and applying trained craftsmanship to jobs in process in a variety of production stages.

Responsibilities :

• Reading and understanding the work order
• Verifying dimensions and product specifications provided on the work order
• Ensuring that all parts are built exactly from the work order specifications
• Ensuring quality standards are met
• Take priority, schedule, and maintain production activities to meet production objectives on time
• Monitor inventory to ensure building material is in stock

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in production, or a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Must be able to follow standard directions and collaborate successfully with others
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
