Job Summary
Hughes General Contractors is looking for a dedicated individual to fulfill an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our accounting managers. This is a full-time non-exempt position with regular work hours being Mon-Fri from 8am to 5pm. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Billing & Invoicing
- Collection of past invoices
- Accounts Payable
- Statements
- Data Entry
- Answering Calls (as needed)
- Assisting with other accounting/purchasing duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Good understanding of GAAP
- Strong PC skills utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A self-starter with a strong desire to learn
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Minimum Qualifications
- A good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Word, & Outlook
- Solid math skills
- Experience with Timberline/Sage 300 is a plus but not required

- Solid Accounting Experience of at least one year (Construction accounting a plus)
