Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to join our team. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient functioning. This is a key role in our organization, requiring strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise office staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations
- Oversee administrative functions such as scheduling, billing, and record keeping
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement
- Maintain electronic health records using eClinicalWorks or similar software
- Monitor and manage office budget, including expense tracking and cost control measures
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and guidelines
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional manner
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and equipment
Skills:
- Proven experience in healthcare management or medical office administration
- Proficiency in eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record software
- Strong fiscal management skills, including budgeting and financial analysis
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of medical terminology and managed care practices
- Familiarity with practice management systems such as Epic or similar platforms
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
