Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Merchandising Associate to join our team. As a Merchandising Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are properly displayed and stocked in our retail store. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks
- Stock shelves and displays with products
- Arrange merchandise according to planograms and visual merchandising guidelines
- Rotate products to ensure freshness and minimize waste
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding restocking needs
- Assist customers with locating products and provide excellent customer service
- Operate cash register when needed
- Keep the store clean and organized at all times

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail sales or merchandising is preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
- Proficient in operating equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if applicable)
- Knowledge of produce handling and storage is desirable
- Basic math skills for cash register operation
