Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize all aspects of logistics operations, including inbound and outbound freight, shipping costs, expedited costs, and inventory management.
- Utilize strong business acumen to analyze cost data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement effective cost control measures.
- Drive the implementation and optimization of ERP systems, including MRP (Material Resource Planning) and master data planning.
- Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and efficient use of resources.
- Technical degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, with a strong preference for automotive manufacturing experience (Tier 1 supplier minimum).
- Extensive experience with ERP systems, such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle, as a power user.
- A proven track record of implementing MRP systems and optimizing master data planning.
