Norman Regional Health System is Hiring a Collections Analyst Near Norman, OK

Departmental OverviewPatient Financial Services department plays a crucial role in the financial health of our organization. We are responsible for proper processing of all billing of services to insurance companies on a daily basis. Collections is an important key to our success also, so contacting payers on status of a patient claim is important, not only for us, but also for the patient. We also post insurance and patient payments.
Job Summary
  • Responsible for working all denials for payers and claims escalation on aged accounts that are not yet been resolved.
  • Will track and trend issues or behaviors with the payer and communicate with leadership.
Qualifications
  • Prior computerized medical collector experience working with accounts receivables within a hospital, clinic or physician office setting is preferred; one year of experience if in a hospital setting; two years of experience in an outpatient setting. Experience working with Microsoft office programs required; Previous experience working with Meditech/ECW is preferred.
