High-Profile Industrial Services, LLC is Hiring a Pipefitter Near Norfolk, VA
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining piping systems used in industrial, commercial, and residential settings.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of piping systems
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required specifications
- Weld, solder, or braze pipes as needed
- Install and repair various types of piping systems including HVAC, water, steam, and gas
- Conduct pressure and leak tests on pipe systems
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure efficient project completion
- Perform rigging activities for pipe installation
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in pipefitting and plumbing
- Proficiency in FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) techniques
- Ability to build and install piping systems accurately
- Knowledge of tube bending methods and caliper usage
- Familiarity with soldering techniques for pipe joints
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations
- Experience in HVAC system installation is a plus
