DUTIES: In this position the candidate will provide a leadership role on an installation and/or sustainment team. This includes supporting the Project Manager with task coordination and planning, conducting installation kick-off meetings, delegating daily activities for the installation team, quality assurance, system programming and configuration, test and acceptance, inventory management, and developing redlines. This candidate will also install, test, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade physical and electronic security systems. The candidate will be required to lift large and heavy objects (up to 75 lbs), perform physical work such as pulling cables, climbing ladders and working out doors for extended periods of time. The candidate will install panels, bend piping/conduit, perform system wiring of both low and high voltage power, and perform connection of both copper and fiber optics. Candidate will be responsible for programming/configuring security software applications. Lenel Certified Professional (LCP) is required
Experience: Eight (8) years of practical IESS experience, to include: Electronics Repair, Maintenance, Installation and Checkout. Two (2) years experience, to include: supervision, and shop practices. Three (3) years practical experience, to include: electronics repair and installation, and six (6) years with Communications and related IESS projects. Experience with AMAG, DMP, Genetec, and/or Lenel security systems is preferred. Candidate must have experience in system installations, cable dressing, making/repairing connectors, connecting electrical power including 220 Volt, rigid and EMT conduit installation including conduit bending, and fiber optics cable installation and termination. Must be a US Citizen. Candidate must be eligible for, or able to obtain, the appropriate clearance required for this position.
Education: High School diploma or GED. Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications, or four (4) year electronics apprentice program. Formal electronics training, to include: Installation Tasks, Soldering, Cable Dressing, Cable Tray, Conduit, and Making/Repairing Connectors.
