Church Church Hittle + Antrim is Hiring a Billing Specialist Near Noblesville, IN

Job DescriptionSummary: The person in this position will learn multiple insurance company’s billing guidelines. Compile, manage, and execute insurance billing firmwide. Collaborate with attorneys to finalize bills, upload to insurance sites, review and respond to insurance billing inquires, oversee appellate process.
Duties include but not limited to: Run bill flows monthly and as requested
Review and edit pre-bills
Ability to execute complex bills in a timely manner (i.e., multiple discounts by matter, split-party billing, insurance billing, preparation of electronic bills)
Review and verify accuracy of billing and supporting documentation as required
Research and respond to inquiries regarding billing issues and problems
Create billing schedules and various other billing analyses as required
Create, print and/or upload final client billing
Utilize computerized accounting and payables software programs (Perfect Law, Excel, Word) to perform duties and responsibilities
Assist with special projects as needed
Key Competencies and Skills Required:Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Ability to organize workflow and use time efficiently
Ability to show strong attention to detail
Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment and successfully adapt to changing priorities and work demands
Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction
Ability to effectively interact and communicate with attorneys, assistants, and clients
Education and Experience:Finance And/or Bookkeeping Experience PreferredType:Full-time
