The Valet Lead is responsible for guiding and directing valet parking operations to ensure services are in alignment with guest/client expectations and established performance standards. The Valet Lead is also responsible for the following, but not limited to:

Essential Functions:

• Maintain an excellent level of client relations by responding and handling client requests, issues or investigations in a timely manner to ensure client satisfaction.
• Oversee the training and coaching of Valet Attendants at your location to ensure that performance standards are consistently met or exceeded.
• Prepare schedules for Valets, maximizing coverage and optimizing efficiency at all times.
• Supervise the activities directly related to providing valet parking-related services while ensuring the safety and security of all vehicles.
• Set an example for Valets by being present and working during peak business periods and events.
• Maintain flexibility and be available as needed in an on-call and troubleshooting capacity.
• Communicate pertinent company policies and operational procedures necessary to maximize employee performance.
• Ensure ongoing compliance to company safety programs and procedures.

Qualifications

Supervisory or management experience in a valet operation is required.

• Experience in the hotel and/or hospitality industry is a plus.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Position requires a high level of customer service.
• Must be able to speak English fluently
• Vehicle knowledge and insurance claims experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills

Physical demands of the position may include:

• Running
• Climbing Stairs
• Twisting and Bending
• Working in inclement weather and extreme heat or cold.
• Lifting up to approximately 40 lbs.
