Duties:
- Provide instruction on proper swimming techniques, including stroke mechanics, breathing techniques, and turns
- Conduct practice sessions and assist the Head Coach with training groups
- Evaluate swimmers' performance and provide feedback for improvement
- Plan and organize swim meets, including coordinating entries, scheduling events, and overseeing meet operations
- Ensure the safety of all swimmers during practices and competitions by enforcing pool rules and implementing appropriate safety measures
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to create a positive and supportive team environment
- Maintain accurate records of swimmers' progress, attendance, and meet results

-Attend, at most, 1-2 competitions per month

Requirements:
- USA Swimming certified or willingness to obtain necessary certifications
- Experience in swimming, whether it's summer league, high school, club, college, triathlons, swim lessons, etc.
- Knowledge of various swimming strokes, techniques, and training methods
- Strong communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate swimmers of all ages and skill levels
- Ability to manage behavior and maintain discipline in a group setting
- Flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends to accommodate practice schedules and swim meets
