Economic Packaging is Hiring a Customer Service Representative Near Newark, CA

Job Summary:

We are seeking an EXPERIENCED B2B Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving customer inquiries, and promoting company products or services.

Responsibilities:

· Provide excellent customer service with exceptional phone etiquette and professionalism.

  • Troubleshoot and problem solve customer service issues.
  • Analyze options to customer concerns and problems, provide suggestions and options to management.
  • Act as main point of contact for questions regarding warranty issues, delivery issues, and placing and processing orders.
  • Work closely with the shipping department to ensure best rates
  • Take sales calls and offer required upsells – make compelling offers, present appropriate alternatives when necessary, and ask for the sale.
  • Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about product, pricing and availability.
  • Help customers navigate our website and place orders online.
  • Work with customers to resolve product returns, shipping inquiries and order status questions.

Education/experience: Any combination of education providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be:

  • Four years of professional customer service experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing or Distribution B2B
  • Work experience in Microsoft Office software
  • Added benefit if you have experience with Epicor / Prophet 21 (P21)
  • Fluent in English language; bilingual Spanish would be a plus

Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of product, the product catalog and quality standards. Knowledge of customer service principles and practices; troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques; freight and shipping rates

Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, proficient computer, keyboarding, positive, upbeat and professional demeanor

Abilities: To lead others in a professional manner with courtesy and respect, efficiently network and coordinate work with customers and suppliers, to manage effectively time to meet targets and deadlines, to excel in a fast-paced environment; ability to multitask. Demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for customer service excellence, maintain focus and positivity while resolving challenging or complex problems.
